Daniel Mason (BSc, MSc)

Meet Daniel…

I am the Director of Mason & Son Roofing Company Ltd, bringing over 18 years of practical roofing experience. Having been introduced to the trade by my father, who began roofing in 1979, I first stepped onto a roof at the age of 16 and have since built extensive experience across domestic roofing systems.

I hold Master Roofers Association qualifications in slating and tiling, lead bossing and welding, and I am a certified EPDM rubber roofing installer. My work is carried out in accordance with current British Standards and recognised industry best practice.

Alongside my trade qualifications, I hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Sports & Exercise Sciences and a Master of Science (MSc) in Entrepreneurship & Innovation, as well as construction-related project management qualifications. This combination of practical expertise and professional education allows me to deliver roofing projects with a strong focus on quality, communication and attention to detail.

Outside of work, I enjoy bikepacking, reading and illustration.

I have worked within the roofing industry for over 20 years and am proud to be a third-generation roofer, following in the footsteps of both my father and grandfather. Throughout my career, I have completed a wide range of roofing projects, including listed and heritage buildings, churches, modern new-build developments, complete residential re-roofs, flat roofing systems and specialist roof repairs.

I take great pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and ensuring every customer is kept informed throughout every stage of their project. My aim is to provide honest advice, exceptional workmanship and complete customer satisfaction on every project we undertake.
